24" Samsung S4 S40GD

24" Samsung S4 S40GD
This 24" Samsung LCD monitor with standard Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution is perfect for using office suites, writing emails and surfing the web. In addition, you can also use it for occasional gaming, watching films and videos. Its IPS panel provides excellent colour reproduction and the image remains just as high-quality even when you change your viewing angle. This can be useful when preparing documents for printing or for presentations. The matt surface of the display does not reflect light from the room and helps against light from the window. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you can open two document windows side-by-side and work with them efficiently if needed. The IPS panel is illuminated by LEDs. A maximum brightness of 250cd/m² is practical for working in environments without harsh sunlight and is also suitable for rooms that are not too brightly lit. It can be mounted using a VESA 100×100 wall mount. You will find this useful if you have a smaller desk or multiple monitors. Such a layout can be used by people who are involved in trading, monitoring camera systems and so on.

The Samsung monitor has a host of interesting features and functions
The 24" IPS PC monitor has a flat design that makes it easy to place multiple monitors side-by-side. It has a filter that lets less harmful blue light through and a Flicker-free function that reduces the frequency of monitor flicker. This can help reduce eye fatigue and improve sleep quality. You can tilt and adjust the monitor to your desired height so that its top side corresponds to eye level, thus promoting correct posture, which reduces strain on the cervical spine, prevents back pain and the development of scoliosis. The tilt option is practical for those who prefer to work standing up. Thanks to the Pivot function, the monitor can be rotated by 90°, which is practical for traders, programmers and data analysts using a spreadsheet editor. Vertical viewing improves productivity and minimises the need for scrolling.

The Samsung monitor will surprise you with its features
You can use HDMI and DisplayPort to connect the monitor to your computer or laptop. If your computer doesn't have a suitable connector, you can expand its connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. You can also use a port replicator when connecting two monitors. A Kensington Lock is provided against theft, which includes a steel cable and a lockable mechanism. In addition to the monitor itself, you will also find an HDMI cable in the package.
Choose your monitor by its native contrast
The Samsung monitor has a native contrast of 1000:1. The difference between the brightest and darkest points that the monitor can display is expressed by the native contrast ratio. If a monitor has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). Better detail resolution in dark and light areas of the image is the result of a higher native contrast. A native contrast not exceeding 1000:1 will be suitable mainly for office purposes, up to 2000:1 you will appreciate for gaming and watching films. A value above 2000:1 is typical for monitors ideal for graphic designers and video editing.
