The monitor’s solid and stable stand was inspired by the sundial and gives your work desk a unique touch while keeping the monitor stable and secure.
Advanced AH-IPS Panel Technology
The monitor’s elegance is highlighted by the exquisite AH-IPS A+ display panel with FullHD resolution. Compared to the traditional IPS panels, its delivers better colours and lower power draw.
Coupled with cost-efficient LED backlighting, the monitor consumes very little energy and doesn’t eat holes into your budget.
The ASUS MX279H’s advanced AH-IPS panel provides viewing angles up to 178°/178°, so the picture doesn’t lose its lustre even if viewed from the side.
Always the best picture quality
ASUS's innovative technology ensures the highest level of image quality. Tracer Free Technology improves the response time, eliminating ghosting and tracers during video playback. Whether you are watching car races, action movies, or playing games, the ASUS MX279H always delivers sharp and detailed images. And with ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR), the MX279H augments display contrast and sharpness by adjusting backlighting luminance to achieve the deepest blacks and brightest whites for truly lifelike visuals.

In cooperation with Bang & Olufsen, ASUS has managed to integrate high-quality 32 mm speakers with state-of-the-art audio technology. A built-in amplifier powers speaker sound reproduction, so you don’t need any other speakers cluttering up your desk.
