The image of the EIZO EV2795-BK monitor will continue to appear perfectly calm and clean. In the evening, the user can also select the “PAPER” mode to significantly reduce (by up to 80%) the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO monitor's backlighting system, by adjusting the monitor's white point below 5000K. At the same time, the monitor's contrast is automatically adjusted to better match the contrast ratios of light reflected from paper, which is very pleasant for the eyes.

The Monitor Automatically Adjusts the Brightness Level

The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK uses an automatic LED backlight control system, which saves electricity. Another benefit of this control is the achievement of a stable and flicker-free image. The brightness of the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK monitor can be regulated from 1cd/m² up to a maximum value of 350cd/m². The monitor can thus be used in operations with limited daylight and for night operation. For the aforementioned automatic brightness adjustment, the monitor uses a unique optimised control with a non-linear characteristic, thanks to which the EIZO colour Edge EV2495-BK monitor can better respond to changes in the light around the monitor. Since the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK monitor uses the latest technology, it can save up to 30% of energy in normal operation. To prevent the monitor from drawing any electricity, you can switch it off mechanically thanks to the built-in mains switch. Its consumption will then be zero. If you leave the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK monitor in Stand-by mode, its consumption is around 0.5W.

The monitor's colour gamut is close to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 standard, so the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK can immediately handle displaying colour photographs with the sRGB colour gamut correctly right out of the box, without any need to calibrate the monitor and create its exact colour profile. The display of images with the sRGB gamut is correct even in browsers without Colour Management support (without CMS), i.e., also in internet browsers or other applications that were not originally intended primarily for the reproduction of colour photographs. The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK monitor has a flexible stand, which makes handling the 27" panel as easy and comfortable as possible. The stand allows for height adjustment of up to 176.6mm, so you can easily adjust it to the optimal position. The EIZO EV2795-BK monitor can also be swivelled by 344° and tilted up to +35° or -5°.

Screen InStyle Software Makes Work Easier

Thanks to this clever software, you can assign a preset video mode to any application you use. That is, when you open the selected application, the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-BK monitor will adapt to your settings, ensuring you have the most comfortable work and usage experience. Screen InStyle software allows you to define “hot keys” for switching input video signals directly from the keyboard, define the white point for “Paper” mode, or synchronise brightness changes across multiple monitors simultaneously using a single control. EIZO guarantees zero tolerance for defective pixels or sub-pixels. If defective pixels/sub-pixels are found within six months of the date of sale, the user has the right to request a replacement or a significant discount on the purchased monitor.
