iiyama large format display with iiWare 21E
The user interface is built on the Android 14 operating system with the iiWare 21E superstructure. This system includes integrated apps like WhiteBoard for note-taking, the iiBrowser web browser, and a file manager. The iiShare and EShare tools are used for wireless screen sharing, compatible with Windows, iOS, and Android platforms. IT administrators can use the iiControl system for remote management of all terminal devices on the network.
DeepContrast IR++ touch technology
Interactive control uses DeepContrast IR++ technology with a 200Hz scanning speed and a 5ms response time. The screen registers up to 40 touch points simultaneously and supports writing in up to 32 points. The Palm Rejection feature ignores unwanted palm touches when writing and contributes to a natural drawing feel. Additionally, optical bonding of the panel removes the gap between the glass and the display, eliminating parallax.

The integrated PIR motion sensor detects the presence of people in the room and automatically adjusts the power status. When users leave, it switches the display to a power-saving mode, thereby reducing electricity consumption. Another feature is the pen lift sensor, which instantly activates the writing app when the stylus is removed from the holder. The device also includes an ambient light sensor and an NFC reader.
Connectivity options and OPS slot
A USB-C connector with Power Delivery support of up to 100W is used for connecting external devices. This single cable transmits the video signal, data, touch control, and simultaneously powers the connected laptop. The display also includes HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces for image transmission. A free Intel OPS 80-pin standard slot allows for the installation of an embedded computer without the need for external cabling.
Sound system
Sound is provided by two 20W front speakers, complemented by a rear 20W subwoofer. An integrated array of eight microphones with a range of up to 8 metres is used for voice capture. The metal chassis holds 3.2mm thick tempered glass with 7H hardness and an antibacterial treatment. The matte finish of the glass reduces reflections from ambient lighting and makes it easier for a finger or stylus to glide across.
