When choosing a monitor, consider its colour depth and native contrast
Colour depth indicates how many different colours the monitor is able to display. For example, a 6-bit monitor can display almost three hundred thousand colours, while a 10-bit monitor can display more than a billion colours. A higher colour depth allows for finer colour shades and ensures more realistic and vibrant colours. The colour depth of the monitor on offer is 8 bits. The HP monitor offers a native contrast of 1000:1. The native contrast ratio of a monitor is an indicator of the difference between the brightest and darkest displayable point. If a monitor has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). A higher native contrast allows for better detail in both dark and light areas of the image.
