21,5" HP P22v G5

The compact HP LCD monitor with a 21.5" screen size and standard Full HD (1920×1080) resolution is great for working with office suites, email communication, and browsing the internet. The high contrast ratio of its VA panel allows for deeper reproduction of black. This makes it easy for you to work with text. The matte finish of the display doesn't reflect room light from the monitor and also helps against light from a window. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you'll be able to open two document windows side by side and work with them efficiently. The VA panel is backlit by LEDs. The maximum brightness of 200cd/m² is designed for work out of direct sunlight and is also suitable for spaces that are not too brightly lit. It can be mounted using a VESA 100×100 mount to a wall. You will appreciate this if you have a smaller desk or when using multiple monitors. Such a setup can be used by people involved in trading, monitoring camera systems, and similar activities.

It features a filter that produces less blue light, which can help reduce eye fatigue and improve sleep quality. You can tilt the monitor so that its top side corresponds to eye level, helping you maintain correct posture, thus saving your cervical spine and preventing scoliosis. Tilting the monitor is practical for users who work while standing.

You'll be delighted by the HP monitor's features

To connect the monitor to a computer or laptop, you can use HDMI and VGA. If your computer does not have a suitable connector, you can expand its connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. A port replicator will also come in handy when you need to connect, for example, two monitors. Thanks to the VGA port, you are able to connect older devices. In addition to the monitor, the package also includes an HDMI cable.

Consider colour depth and native contrast when choosing a monitor

Colour depth determines the variety of colours a monitor can display. For example, a 6-bit monitor displays nearly three hundred thousand colours, while a 10-bit monitor displays over a billion colours. A higher colour depth allows for the display of finer shades of colour and ensures a more realistic and vivid rendering. The colour depth of the offered monitor is 8 bits. The HP monitor has a native contrast of 3000:1. The difference between the brightest and darkest point that a monitor can display is defined by the native contrast ratio. If a monitor has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). A higher native contrast contributes to better resolution of details in both dark and light areas of the image. A native contrast of up to 1000:1 is primarily suitable for office purposes, while up to 2000:1 is appreciated for gaming and watching films. A value above 2000:1 is characteristic of monitors for graphic designers and video editing.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.

The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
