23.8" AOC 24G42E
The AOC 24G42E monitor with a 23.8" screen size was designed by AOC for competitive gaming, where fractions of a second matter. It uses a fast IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920×1080), which combines accurate colours with high speed. The screen operates with a 200Hz refresh rate and offers a low response time of 1ms (GtG). The monitor provides a smooth image without motion blur, which is key for fast-paced action titles. Thanks to Adaptive-Sync technology, the IPS monitor is also G-Sync compatible, which contributes to the smoothness of gaming scenes.

Fast IPS Panel and Smooth Motion
The IPS panel of the AOC 24G42E monitor, with a 23.8" screen size and 16:9 aspect ratio, displays content in Full HD resolution. The high refresh rate, along with a 1ms (GtG) response time, contributes to smooth motion without unwanted blur. To synchronise frames with the graphics card, the monitor supports Adaptive-Sync and G-Sync technologies, which reduce screen tearing. The screen has a brightness of 300cd/m² with a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, which supports a clean and clear display in various lighting conditions.
Gaming Features
To enhance the gaming experience, the 23.8" AOC 24G42E monitor offers specific features. Adaptive-Sync and G-Sync compatibility actively work to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, which occurs when there's a mismatch between the graphics card's frame rate and the monitor's. The Dial Point feature displays a static crosshair on the screen, which helps with aiming in games where it is missing or intentionally hidden. The combination of technologies helps maintain smoothness and precision in every gaming situation.
Vivid Colours and Eye Protection
The 23.8" AOC 24G42E monitor displays colours with 8-bit depth and achieves wide coverage of colour spaces, specifically 129.3% sRGB and 93.9% Adobe RGB. Support for the HDR10 standard extends the dynamic range, which leads to better contrast and more vibrant colours. For eye protection during prolonged use, the monitor integrates Flicker-free technology, which reduces backlight flicker. It also includes a blue light filter that reduces the emission of the potentially harmful component of the light spectrum and reduces eye fatigue.
Ergonomics and Connectivity Options
The stand of the 23.8" AOC 24G42E monitor allows for screen tilting to find the optimal viewing angle. On the back, there is preparation for a VESA 100×100mm mounting system, which is used to mount the monitor on a wall or a compatible adjustable arm, freeing up space on your desk. The monitor offers wide connectivity options to a computer or gaming console. It uses digital ports for fast image and sound transmission. A headphone output is also available.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness level of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
