ACC® with complex triple action
- DISSOLVES MUCUS: ACC® acts on mucus directly in the airways, dissolving the mucus and reducing its viscosity, making it easier for the body to get rid of it.
- FACILITATES EXPECTORATION: By dissolving the mucus, ACC® facilitates its expectoration, turning an initially irritating and unproductive cough into a productive one.
- PROTECTS LUNG CELLS: ACC® also has an antioxidant effect that protects lung cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

Why does a person cough and how can ACC® NEO 100 mg help?
In most cases, coughs are caused by viruses that enter the airways. Viruses cause inflammation of the mucous membranes, which leads to increased production of thick mucus, which then causes a persistent and bothersome cough. To relieve a cough, it is necessary to clear the airways of thick mucus. Acetylcysteine, the active ingredient in ACC® NEO 100 mg, dissolves thick mucus in the airways. Thin mucus can be coughed up more easily, thus relaxing the airways.

Double antioxidant effect
As a result of the disease and the body's fight against infection, the amount of free radicals in the airways increases, damaging lung cells and forming the so-called. oxidative stress. Acetylcysteine contained in ACC® products, thanks to its dual antioxidant effect, acts against free radicals on two levels. Firstly, it directly neutralizes free radicals. At the same time, it provides one of the building blocks for the formation of glutathione, one of the most powerful antioxidants in the body, and thus contributes to the reduction of oxidative stress and the protection of lung cells.

Calm and care, sufficient drinking and ACC® NEO 100 mg is the key!
Viruses are mainly transmitted by droplets or contact. A viral infection can therefore spread very quickly. In kindergartens or schools - i.e. in groups where children are in close contact - the risk of infection is particularly high. When your child has a wet cough, it's good to know that coughing is just a defense mechanism by which your child's body tries to clear the airways. Keep your trusted ally, ACC® NEO 100 mg, in your home medicine cabinet to help dissolve thick mucus, making it easier to cough up and relieve your baby. It is adapted to the needs of even the smallest cough patients from 2 years of age. It has a pleasant blackberry aroma and we recommend its early application from the first signs of cough.
The body needs sufficient rest to fight the viral infection. In children's language, this means that children should not run or jump. Reading books, solving puzzles or listening to stories makes relaxation more enjoyable and brings fun. Proper hydration of the body is also essential to protect the respiratory tract of children. Sufficient fluid intake helps to maintain ideal mucous membrane moisture, which makes it harder for viruses to enter the airways, and also helps to dissolve mucus more easily.
Use of ACC® NEO 100 mg
ACC® NEO 100 mg is used to treat acute respiratory diseases accompanied by thick, mucoid mucus and a wet cough such as influenza, acute bronchitis or tracheitis. On the advice of a doctor, ACC® NEO 100 mg is also used for chronic respiratory diseases (chronic bronchitis or tracheitis, bronchial asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis).
