Acneroxide 10 is a gel for topical application to the skin for the external treatment of acne. The use has 3 basic therapeutic effects: 1. exfoliating by removing the stratum corneum from the follicular orifices provides a drainage of sebum from the sebaceous glands. 2. antibacterial reduces the growth of bacteria that are co-responsible for the frequent occurrence of acne and the development of local inflammation. 3. removes sebum from the skin surface, which is always in excess in acne patients. The drug is very well tolerated by the vast majority of patients. Acneroxide 10 is used for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris, especially on the chest and back. For the treatment of more severe forms of acne that do not respond adequately to treatment with a 5% concentration of benzoyl peroxide. Package contains 50 g.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise directed by a physician, the recommended dose is: The affected areas are rubbed with the gel in a thin layer 1-2 times a day after thoroughly washing the affected areas with water and non-irritating soap.
Contraindications
Acneroxide must not come into contact with the eyes and must not be used on mucous membranes or in the corners of the mouth, nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes or if mucous membranes are splashed, rinse immediately with a stream of lukewarm water and seek medical attention. During treatment with Akneroxid, the affected areas must not be exposed to UV irradiation (sunbeds) or sunbathing. Do not use Acneroxide 5 if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or to any of the other ingredients in this product.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store this product at a temperature below 25°C. Shelf life after first opening is up to 6 months. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The shelf life is refers to the last day of that month. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment the environment.
