Agnucaston affects the hormonal system mainly by lowering the level of prolactin (a hormone acting mainly on the mammary gland). Without consulting a doctor, Agnucaston is used for premenstrual syndrome - difficulties, that appear a few days before regular menstrual bleeding, such as breast pain and tenderness, psychological imbalance, constipation, swelling, headache/migraine. After consulting a doctor, Agnucaston can be used for feelings of breast tension and pain (mastodynia), for menstrual cycle disorders (bleeding frequency disorders).
Dosage and method of use
The recommended dosage of the product for adult women over 18 years of age is 1 tablet 1 times a day. To achieve the optimal therapeutic effect, it is recommended to take it for at least 3 months (even during menstruation). Swallow the tablets whole, unchewed, with plenty of liquid. Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Do not take Agnucaston if you are allergic to Dry Drumstick Extract or to any of the other ingredients in this product. Agnucaston is not intended for use in pregnancy. Use during breastfeeding is not recommended. Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age has not yet been established due to lack of data. Read the package insert carefully.

Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box/blister after Use by/EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 30 °C. Keep the blister in the box to protect the product from light. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
