The AK9567 is a highly integrated single chip controller supporting Contact Smart Card along with an external NFC driver for dual interface, contact and contactless smart card readers. Through a standard SPI or I2C serial bus, it supports seamless interfacing with popular NFC controllers such as STMicroelectronics ST25R3916 series chips. It supports several international standards including ISO7816 for IC card standard, PC/SC 2.0 for Windows Smart Card standard, Microsoft WHQL and compliant with USB-IF CCID standard. AK9567 can generally be used to read/write to Smart cards on devices, like ATMs, POS terminals, public telephone, E-Commerce, personal use on the Internet, personal certification, etc.
