The three-layer design protects the beans from air access, while the one-way valve allows the escape of carbon dioxide, which is naturally released from the coffee after roasting. To preserve taste, aroma, and freshness, store the coffee in a dry place with a constant temperature, away from the fridge or freezer, where it could absorb moisture and surrounding odours.
