SteamPower and OptiTime

The SteamPower system uses hot steam at the end of the washing cycle to reduce bacteria on the dishes and inside the dishwasher, leaving everything sparkling and perfectly dry. OptiTime lets you adjust the wash cycle time to your needs. Shorten the cycle if you're short on time or have lightly soiled dishes. To wash heavily soiled dishes, extend the cycle. The dishwasher runs quietly thanks to sound-insulating mats inside the body. An Amica dishwasher with an B energy rating consumes up to 69% less electricity than a dishwasher with an F energy rating, which means an energy saving of up to 192 "free" washing cycles per year.

OpenDry and Add+

With the OpenDry system, the door of the AMICA DIM66B7ELOCqT built-in dishwasher automatically opens by 7–10cm after the washing cycle is complete, allowing the dishes to dry quickly and naturally. The system is safe because the humid air from the dishwasher does not exceed 40°C, so it does not condense on the furniture and damage it. If necessary, you can deactivate the function, which increases convenience and reduces electricity consumption. With the Add+ feature, you no longer have to guess if and when it is safe to put more dishes in the dishwasher after it has started, or worry about the result. If the indicator light on the floor is flashing, you can safely add more dishes.

Dishwasher functions

Up&Down System – you can move the upper basket up and down, even when fully loaded, to make more room for large pots, for example. AquaStop is an electronic protection for the dishwasher that automatically shuts off the water supply directly at the tap in the event of any fault, which could endanger the safety of your home. You can start the dishwasher even if only one basket is full. The function saves you time and money. The dishwasher can be set to start automatically with a delay of up to 24 hours. The design of the WaterSpray arms ensures optimal distribution of the water jets, which significantly increases efficiency even with a shortened washing cycle. Wash without damage thanks to the silicone protectors in the baskets, which are designed to protect all items from cracking upon impact.
