The attachments are firmly secured to a movable steel arm, while the bowl itself rotates, ensuring the ingredients are processed evenly. The robust body made of cast aluminium, combined with a sophisticated drive system, processes up to 5kg of firm dough or 1.5L of liquid batter.
Quiet motor
A 1500W motor located in the base of the appliance provides plenty of power. The Ankarsrum Assistent Original AKM6230 food processor uses a unique gearbox that combines high performance with quiet operation. In addition, the movable steel arm stabilises the dough roller and dough hook when processing light mixtures and firm doughs.
Set the speed and timer
The chrome-plated controls on the front make it easy to set up the Ankarsrum Assistent Original AKM6230. Use the dial to set the speed in the range of 45 to 130 rpm, and the timer enables continuous operation for up to 12 minutes. This makes it easy to adapt the operation to the recipe and the consistency of the dough you're preparing. Rubber feet provide stability during operation, and a detachable power cord makes the appliance easy to handle.
Large stainless steel bowl

The dough roller, dough scraper and spatula are suitable for mixing various mixtures and lighter doughs, while the dough hook can handle firm doughs. The capacity allows you to prepare up to 5kg of firm dough or 1.5L of liquid batter.
Whisking and preparing creams
Also included is a 3.5L double whisking bowl made from Tritan. With it, the Ankarsrum Assistent Original AKM6230 food processor can handle the preparation of light mixtures, buttercreams, icings and whisking egg whites. The multi-wire balloon whisks are complemented by single-wire whisks, and you can whisk up to 18 egg whites in a single use.
One appliance, many possibilities
You can expand the Ankarsrum Assistent Original AKM6230 food processor with separately purchased attachments. With additional accessories, it can also be used to prepare pasta, mince meat, blend, grate vegetables, juice citrus fruits and berries, grind grain, or make biscuits, flakes or homemade ice cream. The food processor can be placed on its side depending on the type of attachment used.
