The APC Smart-UPS C 1000VA with LCD backup power supply protects servers, network components and other sensitive electronics from instability in the power grid. As a line-interactive UPS with an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W, it uses automatic voltage regulation (AVR). This corrects both undervoltage and overvoltage without switching to battery power, thereby extending the battery's life. During a complete power outage, it keeps connected devices running for 5.35 minutes at maximum load or 16.9 minutes at half load. The intuitive LCD shows the operating status and key parameters for easy monitoring and management. The pure sine wave output is fully compatible with electronics equipped with active power factor correction (PFC).

Topology and power
The backup power supply uses a line-interactive topology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). This corrects fluctuations in the grid without switching to battery power, thus extending its life. The apparent power is 1000VA, while the real power reaches 600W. High operating efficiency in green mode reduces energy loss and heat generation. The backup time at full load is 5.35 minutes, and 16.9 minutes at half load.
Battery and comprehensive protection
Inside is a lead-acid, maintenance-free battery (24V, 9Ah) that fully charges in 3 hours. Deep discharge protection contributes to a longer battery life. For easy maintenance and restoration of full performance, the battery is easily user-replaceable. The backup power supply provides connected devices with surge protection, absorbing 455J of energy. The output delivers a pure sine wave signal, suitable for sensitive electronics.
Remote management via SmartConnect
USB and Ethernet interfaces are used for management and supervision. The integrated APC SmartConnect feature provides cloud-based monitoring and remote diagnostics from any internet-connected device. This system sends proactive alerts and maintenance recommendations. The software also supports the automatic and safe shutdown of connected servers during a prolonged power outage.
Connectivity and sockets
The input connection is a standard IEC C14 connector. A power cable is included in the package. To power connected devices, this backup power supply offers a total of eight fully backed-up IEC C13 output sockets. All ports provide both battery backup and surge protection. In addition to the power ports, there is also network cable protection (RJ-45), which protects the data line and connected network components from surge damage.
