ARCTIC P12 Pro PST CO

ARCTIC P12 Pro PST CO
The Arctic P12 Pro PST CO PC fan is a specialised solution that efficiently cools components through obstacles with high airflow resistance. Its design is focused on use with the dense fins of water-cooling radiators and behind dust filters. A wide speed range from 600 to 3000rpm is controlled by the motherboard via a PWM signal, which offers flexibility between quiet operation and high performance in demanding conditions. Reliability is ensured by a dual ball bearing (CO – Continuous Operation), which contributes to a long service life even in servers or workstations.
Key features of the Arctic P12 Pro PC fan with PST CO
- The fan generates a static pressure of 6.9mmH2O
- Dual ball bearing handles continuous operation
- PST technology for daisy-chaining and synchronising fans
- Speed range from 600 to 3000rpm with PWM control
- Switches to 0rpm mode when the PWM signal is below 5%
- Advanced motor microcontroller reduces vibration and noise
- Airflow of 77CFM (131m³/h)
High static pressure of the Arctic P12 Pro PST CO fan
This PC fan generates a static pressure of up to 6.9mmH2O, which is a key parameter for effective cooling in confined spaces. This value confirms its ability to push air through the dense and tightly packed fins of water-cooling radiators, where conventional fans lose performance. The focused airflow also effectively handles the resistance of dense dust filters at case intakes, maintaining a stable supply of cool air to the components.
Built for continuous operation
The CO (Continuous Operation) designation refers to the use of a dual ball bearing, which is more mechanically resistant to wear and higher temperatures than standard sleeve or fluid dynamic bearing variants. Due to lower friction and a robust design, this solution is intended for continuous 24/7 operation in servers, workstations, or other systems under constant load. The dual ball bearing has less friction and a longer service life, which is also confirmed by its extended operating temperature range.
Synchronise multiple Arctic P12 Pro PST CO fans
PST (PWM Sharing Technology) solves the problem of limited motherboard connectors and simplifies cable management. In addition to the standard 4-pin PWM connector, each fan is also equipped with an integrated 4-pin socket. This solution allows several fans to be daisy-chained, which are then controlled by a single PWM signal. The integrated PST simplifies the management and synchronisation of multiple fan speeds, which is useful, for example, when fitting large radiators.
Quiet operation and low vibration
An advanced microcontroller manages the motor, actively reducing operating noise and compensating for vibrations generated during rotation. The automated blade balancing process, which eliminates resonance, also contributes to smooth operation. Under low load, when the PWM signal from the motherboard drops below 5%, the fan switches to a passive 0rpm mode and is completely silent.
