The ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II is PCIe 4.0-ready and offers the latest connectivity options for smooth networking and fast data transfers. The board has two M.2 slots, one of which supports the PCIe 4.0 standard, and both slots allow for the use of Type 22110 sockets and NVM Express RAID for increased performance. Integrated WiFi 6E technology provides faster wireless speeds and a reliable signal even in dense environments, while Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet delivers faster wired connections compared to standard networks. It includes a WiFi 6E antenna with four-way positioning and a magnetic base, making it easy to place securely on the top or side of your PC case.

Onboard ROG SupremeFX audio technology ensures the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II delivers pristine audio with a flat frequency response for a neutral, detailed sound signature. Two front-panel outputs driven by op-amps provide high-quality audio to gaming headsets. Effective shielding against electromagnetic interference protects signal integrity, audio line shielding ensures a cleaner sound, two onboard amplifiers can drive headphones with an impedance of 32–600Ω, and premium capacitors deliver a more natural and faithful sound. Two-way AI Noise Cancellation uses a deep-learning database to eliminate distracting keyboard, mouse, or ambient sounds while preserving voice and audio clarity. Sonic Studio III supports virtual surround sound, offers an intuitive equaliser, Sonic Studio Link applies effects to all playback devices, and Virtual Mixer makes it easy to stream a mix of voice and game audio. DTS Sound Unbound creates a 3D audio space based on Windows Sonic technology, delivering a stereo, multi-directional or fully spatial experience that puts you right in the middle of the soundscape.

The ROG Strix B550 series is equipped with the most comprehensive cooling options, configurable via Fan Xpert 4 software or the UEFI BIOS. The board offers two dedicated PWM/DC fan headers for CPU coolers and a dedicated AIO pump header that supports water cooling. There is also an M.2 heatsink that maintains optimal SSD temperature, universal 4-pin headers with automatic PWM/DC detection, and a massive VRM heatsink with a large contact area for MOSFETs and chokes. A high-quality thermal pad efficiently transfers heat from the inductors and phase array to the heatsink, ensuring stable and reliable operation of the entire system.
Memory signal optimisation with ASUS OptiMem II
To give the latest AMD processors unrestricted access to memory bandwidth, the motherboard tracing on the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II has been redesigned. Integrated OptiMem II technology carefully maps memory signal pathways across PCB layers to reduce vias and adds shielding zones that significantly reduce crosstalk. This provides more overclocking headroom and, with a fully populated memory configuration, offers a highly customised Daisy Chain layout with matched signalling.

Digital power control and a series of power stages ensure the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II has enough power for even the latest AMD processors. The ProCool power connector is built to strict specifications to provide flush contact with the PSU power lines, ensuring lower impedance and better heat dissipation. The innovative ASUS DIGI+ Power Control controller set enables precise memory and voltage tuning, ensuring optimal system efficiency, stability, and performance. 12+2 power stages combine high-side and low-side MOSFETs and drivers to deliver the power and efficiency needed for demanding processors. Superior alloy chokes and durable capacitors withstand extreme temperatures and provide up to 110% better performance than the industry standard. The six-layer PCB design quickly dissipates heat around the VRM, which improves system stability and provides more overclocking headroom.
Aura Sync

They also feature integrated ASUS Aura technology, which enables full RGB lighting control and a variety of presets for both built-in RGB LEDs and lighting strips connected to the onboard RGB headers.
