Thanks to the top-down disassembly solution, components can be removed directly from the top, so there is no need to turn the keyboard over. The doubleshot ABS keycaps feature durable, fade-resistant legends and provide a smooth, consistent typing feel.
ROG NX V2 mechanical switches and intuitive controls
Based on the award-winning ROG NX Snow mechanical switches, the new NX Snow V2 mechanical switches meet the demands of enthusiasts who require keyboard customisation. The switches maintain their dustproof properties thanks to the side walls of the stem and are also equipped with an LED lens for improved RGB backlighting. Each switch is carefully pre-lubricated at the factory for a consistent linear action, ensuring smooth and pleasant typing. The multi-function button and wheel let users control media playback, adjust the volume, and fine-tune the keyboard's backlighting.
Speed Tap mode
Once the system in Speed Tap (SOCD) mode detects that two keys have been pressed (e.g. A and D), it prioritises the last key pressed and automatically releases the previous one. This means that in FPS games, pressing two opposite directional keys no longer causes the character to stop moving. Instead, direction changes can be made instantly without needing to release the previous key, eliminating the time lag for counter-strafing and ensuring precise aiming every time.
