Intelligent control
The UEFI interface provides easy-to-use configuration options for PC beginners and advanced features for experienced users. ASUS DriverHub simplifies driver management with automatic detection, and one-click installation and updates for smooth and efficient system performance. Additionally, ASUS GlideX enables easy screen sharing and control across PCs, tablets, and phones via USB or WiFi, supporting multiple platforms.
Power
The motherboard is tailored to the demands of high-core-count processors. It features 8 (80A) + 2 (80A) + 1 (80A) power stages that integrate high-side and low-side MOSFETs and drivers into packages rated for up to 80 amps. A key attribute of TUF GAMING motherboards is their comprehensive memory tuning features. It can handle enthusiast kits thanks to extensive support for AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO™). You can also adjust performance using a variety of settings in the UEFI. ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) automatically detects the memory chips in your kit and then displays optimised frequency, timing, and voltage profiles that you can quickly apply. This motherboard is also equipped with one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, enabling data transfers at speeds of up to 128Gb/s. All M.2 slots support NVMe RAID configurations to take advantage of the latest available speeds.
Enhanced connectivity
The motherboard offers versatile connectivity options thanks to PCIe 5.0, a rear USB 10Gb/s Type-C® port, and a front USB 20Gb/s Type-C® connector. The PCIe 5.0 standard offers double the data transfer speed of PCIe 4.0. PCIe 5.0 also introduces electrical changes to improve signal integrity, backward-compatible CEM connectors for add-in cards, and backward compatibility with previous versions of the PCIe bus. USB support ensures connectivity to a wide range of external devices. The board includes a USB 10Gb/s Type-C® port on the rear I/O panel, providing transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s. It also features a USB 20Gb/s Type-C® connector on the front panel, ensuring fast data transfers of up to 20Gb/s.
PC DIY made simple
A physical lever unlocks the first PCIe slot's security latch with a single touch, simplifying the process of detaching a PCIe card from the motherboard. With Q-Antenna, connecting a Wi-Fi antenna to your PC is easy and fast. There's no need to slowly turn two fasteners until they finally lock; just snap them into place. The innovative ASUS Q-Latch system makes it easy to install or remove an M.2 SSD. It uses a simple locking mechanism to secure the drive and a single tap to disconnect it.
Faster building and troubleshooting
The built-in Q-LED troubleshooting indicators provide a quick visual cue to confirm that key components like the processor, RAM, graphics card, or storage devices are functioning normally during startup. They can also alert you to improperly installed memory modules even before the system boots. BIOS FlashBack™ simplifies BIOS updates. Just upload the BIOS file to a FAT32-formatted USB drive, insert it into the BIOS FlashBack™ port, and press the button. The pre-installed I/O shield protects the ports.
Protection
SafeSlot is a reinforced metal sheath integrated into the PCIe slot that ensures a firm card installation and high data transfer speeds. The integrated SafeDIMM shroud protects memory modules and allows for their quick, precise, and reliable insertion. Special TVS diodes enhance protection against electrostatic discharge. Up to +/- 10kV for air discharge and +/- 6kV for contact discharge. LANGuard integrates advanced signal-coupling technology and surface-mount capacitors to improve throughput and help protect the motherboard from lightning strikes and static electricity. TUF Gaming motherboards feature a rear I/O panel made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. These models have undergone a rigorous 72-hour salt spray test.

The Realtek 7.1 Surround Sound audio codec, designed in close collaboration with Realtek for TUF GAMING B850 motherboards, features a 98dB signal-to-noise ratio for the stereo line-out, ensuring superb sound quality. DTS® Audio Processing enhances audio from gaming headsets and speakers by reducing distortion and providing deeper bass. It also lets you customise your audio settings.
