NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and its technologies
The NVIDIA Blackwell architecture introduces 5th generation Tensor Cores with FP4 support, maximising AI performance and DLSS 4. Modern streaming multiprocessors are optimised for neural shaders. 4th generation Ray Tracing Cores handle Mega Geometry and enable full ray tracing with neural rendering. NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp reduces latency. The card includes NVIDIA ACE digital assistants, creator-focused NVIDIA Studio tools, and NVIDIA Broadcast with a 9th generation encoder that enhances video using AI.
Advanced Axial-tech cooling system
The cooling system consists of three Axial-tech fans with dual ball bearings, which have a lifespan of up to 80000 hours. The two outer fans rotate counter-clockwise to minimise turbulence. The fans stop when the GPU temperature is below 50°C and restart when it exceeds 55°C. The heat spreader uses MaxContact technology, which increases the contact area over the GPU by 5% compared to traditional solutions, reducing temperatures by up to 2°C. A vented aluminium exoskeleton with large vents ensures efficient heat dissipation.
Durable components and quality manufacturing
Military-grade components include certified TUF chokes and MOSFETs for robust GPU power delivery and improved system stability. TUF 5K black metallic capacitors provide 52% higher temperature tolerance and a 2.5× longer lifespan than standard capacitors. The printed circuit board has a protective conformal coating against moisture, dust and dirt. ASUS GPU Guard uses an adhesive to secure all four corners of the GPU, reducing the risk of cracks. Manufacturing is carried out using Auto-Extreme technology, which completes all soldering in a single pass, reducing thermal stress on components.
Software and additional features
The card offers a Dual BIOS with the ability to switch between Quiet and Performance modes. ARGB lighting can be synchronised using Aura Sync. GPU Tweak III software enables overclocking, fan control with 0dB technology, automatic profile switching, and logging. MuseTree offers AI-powered creation. The card is compatible with Adobe Creative Cloud and NVIDIA Studio tools.
