Military-grade certified components and protective features
The card uses certified military-grade TUF components, specifically chokes and MOSFET transistors, which ensure stable power delivery to the GPU and can contribute to system stability. TUF 5K black metallic capacitors provide a 52% wider thermal tolerance range and a 2.5× longer lifespan compared to standard capacitors. The PCB is protected by a conformal coating against short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris. The fans' dual ball bearings offer a lifespan of up to 80,000 hours, which is double that of sleeve bearings. ASUS GPU Guard technology uses adhesive on all four corners of the GPU to minimise the risk of cracks.
Advanced cooling system with MaxContact technology
The cooling solution uses MaxContact manufacturing technology, which increases the heatsink's contact area on the GPU by 5% compared to traditional solutions. This, combined with the extensive heatsink array and powerful Axial-tech fans, reduces temperatures by up to 2°C. The Axial-tech fans are driven by dual ball bearings and move more air than standard fans. The two outer fans rotate counter-clockwise to reduce turbulence and improve air dispersal. All three fans stop when GPU temperatures are below 55°C and start again above 60°C, following a curve that balances performance and acoustics. A metal shroud and aluminium backplate prevent PCB flex and feature large vents for additional heat dissipation. The 2.5-slot design optimises heat dissipation.
AMD RDNA 4 architecture support and advanced features
The AMD RDNA 4 architecture with unified compute units includes advanced ray tracing and AI accelerators. The card supports AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 technology to increase frame rates using AI, AMD HYPR-RX for one-click optimised settings, and AMD Smart Access Memory to unlock the full potential of the AM5 platform with AMD Ryzen 9000 Series processors. The Enhanced Media Engine improves streaming quality. GPU Tweak III software offers a redesigned interface with a centralised dashboard and improved voltage and frequency tuning, including 0dB technology, automatic profile switching, and a fully customisable on-screen display. Auto-Extreme automated technology allows all soldering to be completed in a single pass, reducing thermal strain on components and energy consumption during manufacturing. The recommended power supply is the TUF Gaming Gold 750W.
