The Auraton 2YA thermostat with WiFi is used to regulate the indoor temperature and control heating devices such as gas boilers, electric boilers, heating mats, foils, cables or electric heaters. The device operates on a supply voltage of 90–240V AC at a frequency of 50–60Hz with a power consumption of 1W. This wired device is mounted directly into the wall as a flush-mounted controller. A touch panel with an LED display shows the current settings and measured values with minute-by-minute accuracy. The device works independently as an open system and is compatible with both hydronic and electric underfloor heating or boilers. The thermostat offers automatic, manual and holiday modes. The holiday mode maintains a set temperature for a selected period of absence. An integrated cooling function extends the device's use into the summer months. The lower temperature limit can be adjusted in the range of 1 to 10°C and the upper limit in the range of 20 to 70°C. This lets users customise its operation to their requirements.

Remote heating control
The controller includes an integrated WiFi module that operates at 2.4GHz. This makes it possible to control the heating system via a mobile phone with Android or iOS. Compatibility with the Tuya and Smartlife apps simplifies integration into your smart home. Users can also use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. The app supports several world languages.
Temperature programming
This programmable thermostat offers a weekly work cycle with the option to set different temperature levels. Up to 6 temperature changes can be programmed within a 24-hour period, arranged into 3 weekly programmes. The temperature is set in the range of 1 to 70°C according to the user's current needs. The hysteresis can be set between 0.5 and 2.5°C.
Safety features and installation
The design includes both an internal and a floor temperature sensor. The internal sensor measures the air temperature in the room and the floor sensor prevents the floor from overheating. Frost protection protects the heating system from damage when temperatures drop in winter. A child lock can also be set to lock the touch panel against unauthorised tampering. This feature prevents accidental changes to the settings. This wired, flush-mounted controller measures 86×86mm. It protrudes 16mm above the wall surface and requires a depth of 27mm below the wall surface. The relay load capacity is 16A at 250V AC. The IP20 protection rating indicates it is intended for dry indoor areas with non-condensing air humidity of up to 85%. Power is supplied directly from the mains.
