The Auraton Octa WiFi thermostat is used to regulate the temperature in heating and cooling systems, such as boilers or underfloor heating. This wired device requires a connection to a 230V mains supply and is designed for flush-mounting into a wall. The integrated colour TFT IPS display shows the current operating status and all set parameters. The entire user interface is in English, simplifying setup directly on the wall. The unit has an IP20 protection rating and its overall dimensions are 86×86mm. The device offers several protection and operational functions for a safe household. An integrated child lock increases safety by locking the controls. Overheating protection prevents system damage when critical temperatures are reached. The screen also shows the outdoor air temperature and humidity level for the given location. Users can also see information about air quality and PM2.5 dust levels on the display. The device supports automatic and manual operating modes in a weekly programmable cycle. Users can program up to 8 different temperature levels for each individual day. The temperature can be set in a wide range from 1 to 70°C. A power-saving holiday mode is available for periods of long absence. The built-in relay can handle a load of 16A at 250V AC for standard heating systems.
