The Compass cool box can be powered from a 12V or 24V socket in cars or boats, or from a standard 230V socket. It is equipped with a powerful compressor with refrigerant and can be used as a refrigerator with a temperature of 0–10°C, or as a freezer box with a temperature down to -20°C. The cool box modes include ECO mode for saving electricity and MAX mode for rapidly cooling the contents down to -20°C (at an ambient temperature of 25°C). It also includes a module that allows the use of an app for Apple or Android devices. The app is used for easy control and monitoring of the ALPICOOL device's functions. Furthermore, the box is equipped with an intelligent system to protect the connected battery from being discharged, which can be set via the device's menu.
