Emergency Roadside Kits and Car First Aid Kits

First aid kit - provides all the essential items needed for caring for wounds sustained in a car accident. Periodically check its contents and replace items after expiration date or buy a new first aid kit.

Jack - required when replacing or repairing tires
Warning triangle - warn other drivers of potential hazards, carrying one is a legal requirement in many countries
Wheel nut wrench - various designs (four way, telescopic, torque, etc.)
Replacement bulbs - carry at least one of each type your car uses plus all the tools required to replace the bulb
Accident report form - useful should you wish to record details regarding a road traffic collision
Spare fuses - carry at least one of each type your car uses
