FOLIATEC Spray Film (Dip) 400ml, Colour Copper Metallic

FOLIATEC spray film is a unique way to easily change the design of a surface and protect the original finish. The spray-on material adheres to almost any smooth surface (as long as it's solvent-resistant), even if it has a complex shape. Once it sets (in as little as 30 minutes), it creates a metallic copper film that provides excellent insulation against rain and salt, and protects against scratches from flying stones. If the film gets damaged or you fancy a change, you can easily peel it off without leaving any permanent marks.

Simplified instructions for use (full instructions are included in the package)
Basic instructions:
- work in a temperature of 15–25°C
- do not apply in direct sunlight or in unventilated areas
- only apply the film to solvent-resistant surfaces

Application process:

1. Preparation – remove the wheel from the car (the tyre stays on the wheel).
2. Cleaning – clean, dry and thoroughly degrease the surface to be sprayed using a suitable degreaser.
3. Masking – cover the inside of the wheels with a suitable film, paper or masking tape (we recommend 3M masking tape), and cover the tyre as well.
4. Spraying:

• shake the can thoroughly before use (also shake the can between spraying individual coats)
• start by spraying a light dusting over the surface without trying to cover the original finish (this first coat will help subsequent coats to bond)
• let the surface dry for 10–15 minutes between each coat
• apply 3 to 4 coats as needed, until the original surface is completely covered
• the vehicle can be used just 30 minutes after spraying the final coat
• the film can be easily removed from the surface after a minimum of 48 hours

Please note: To achieve a truly high-quality finish, you must apply a minimum of 3 to 4 coats. The number of spray cans needed to apply the correct amount depends on the surface area being sprayed.
