MOTIP 1K Primer is a single-component reactive coating designed as a first layer for bare metal surfaces. It creates a solid base for subsequent coats and promotes their adhesion. Its quick-drying formula also shortens the time needed for repairs.

Surface Preparation and Next Steps

This etch primer is used as the first step when painting bare metal surfaces. Its reactive components etch the metal surface, creating a strong bond between the material and the subsequent paint layers. Once dry, the paint can be recoated with a 1K or 2K filler, which will smooth the surface and prepare it for the final topcoat.
