Rupes Velcro Polishing Foam Pad COARSE

The RUPES Velcro Polishing Foam Pad COARSE is designed for rotary polishers and is used for heavy paint correction. Thanks to its hardness, it effectively removes deep scratches, sanding marks and water spots. It is a COARSE foam correction pad with an open cell structure that reduces heat build-up during polishing. This protects the paintwork from damage and allows you to work for longer and more safely.

Aggressive foam for heavy paint correction

This COARSE foam pad is the hardest version designed for rotary polishing. Its specially designed foam has a high cutting power that can handle even significant paint damage. It is suitable for the first step of polishing, when you need to remove deep scratches, sanding marks or heavy oxidation. After using it, you usually need to follow up with a finer pad to achieve the final gloss.

Structure for efficient cooling

Rotary polishing generates a significant amount of heat, which can damage both the paintwork and the pad itself. The RUPES COARSE pad uses an open-cell foam structure that actively helps dissipate heat from the work surface. This design provides better airflow and faster heat dissipation, minimising the risk of overheating the paintwork. This allows you to work for longer and more safely, even during intensive correction.

Centre hole and precise centring

In addition to the material, the shape of the pad also contributes to its efficiency. The centre hole not only improves ventilation but also makes it easier to centre the pad precisely on the backing plate. With a working diameter of 135mm and a centring diameter of 130mm, the pad is optimised for standard rotary polisher backing plates. Correct centring is key for smooth, vibration-free operation and achieving a uniform result across the entire polished surface.
