Cars with drum brakes also include brake shoes, thanks to which braking is reliable. They are inserted directly into the drum brake, which they press whenever the car brakes. Assembly of the jaws is easy, you can handle it yourself. If you lift the car with a jack and then lock it against movement, you are half done. Then just remove the wheels and replace the shoe in the brake system.
