Yuasa REC14-12, 14Ah, 12V

A maintenance-free, sealed VRLA battery from YUASA with an increased capacity compared to the NPC series. Designed for cyclic applications, as well as for backup power sources like UPS, intruder alarms, and fire alarm systems. The REC series of traction batteries is intended for the widest range of applications, but is designed mainly for traction/cyclic use, where it achieves up to double the lifespan of standard VRLA batteries. The cycle life is approximately 600 cycles at 50% D.O.D. (repeated depth of discharge). Suitable cyclic applications include golf carts, children's ride-on toys, solar systems, boats, cottages, etc. The batteries can also be used in stand-by mode (various backup power sources for intruder and fire alarms, boilers, or UPS systems). Similar to the NPC series, YUASA states up to 1400 charge and discharge cycles for the REC series batteries, even with increased capacity while maintaining the same dimensions as the NPC series. REC batteries are maintenance-free, sealed, and can operate in any position. Traction batteries are primarily intended for the following applications: powering electric motors (golf carts, fishing boats, and others), campervans (caravans, trailers, external power sources), boats, dinghies, sailboats (for both the electric motor and powering on-board appliances), solar equipment (cyclic charging and discharging – solar energy accumulated in the battery), mobile traffic control systems, traffic lights, warning signs, powering electric motors for e-bikes, e-scooters, etc., toys, children's scooters and ride-ons, children's mini motorbikes.
