Avide LED strip 24 W/m warm white 5m

The 5-metre Avide LED strip is designed for interior lighting, for example, under kitchen counters. The total power consumption of the strip is 120W and it emits a warm white light with a temperature of 3000K. Thanks to the 24V supply voltage, there are fewer losses, making it possible to create longer lighting sections. Installation is made easy by the self-adhesive layer on the back. The strip is fitted with 600 LEDs and achieves a luminous flux of 12000lm.

The advantages of 24V power

This LED strip operates at a supply voltage of 24V, which offers several advantages over standard 12V strips. The higher voltage means half the current is needed for the same power output. This results in a lower current load and less voltage drop along the length of the wires. In practice, you will appreciate this when installing longer lighting sections, as the strip shines evenly along its entire length without any visible drop in brightness at the far end. The lower losses also contribute to more efficient operation.

Components and correct installation

The strip's lifespan of up to 25000 hours is supported by the use of high-quality chips and components. To ensure performance and heat dissipation, installation in aluminium profiles is recommended. An aluminium profile not only dissipates heat, thereby extending the life of the LEDs, but also provides mechanical protection for the strip. At the same time, it helps to eliminate sideways light emission and ensures it is correctly directed onto the illuminated surface.
