Beldimet contains the medicinal substance dimetindene maleate, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. It has a local anaesthetic effect. Beldimet is used for short-term relief of itching in dermatoses such as skin rashes and urticaria, insect bites, sunburn and first-degree superficial burns. Beldimet is indicated for infants, children and adults.
Dosage
Apply the gel to the affected skin area 2-4 times a day. Use only on intact skin. Do not apply to mucous membranes. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days, consult your doctor. Do not use for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. In infants and young children, the product should not be used on large areas of skin, especially if there are open and inflamed wounds.
