Advanced research at Bioderma has led to the development of SUN BARRIER TECHNOLOGY: cutting-edge sun protection technology has been designed to protect the natural defenses of delicate baby skin exposed to the sun. This technology combines UV filters, vitamin E naturally occurring in the skin and apricot kernel oil with biomimetic lipids to provide three broad-spectrum UV protection with optimal effects against short and long UVA rays. It also provides antioxidant protection against free radical attacks caused by UV radiation, preventing skin damage and preserving the skin's natural barrier functions. The new generation of filters combines only 4 non-controversial UV filters with a low ecotoxicity profile. The filters are highly protective, clean and safe for children's skin. Thanks to these filters, our formulation is friendly to aquatic ecosystems, showing no toxicity to corals, microscopic algae and freshwater plankton.
