Using DirectSelect, you can simply select a cooking zone, set the desired power level and any additional settings you might need. The Powerboost feature will speed up your cooking by providing a short-term increase in power that will accelerate boiling times by up to 20%. The flat stainless steel frame around the perimeter of the hob is perfect for insertion into the cutout where your previous hob used to be. The Bosch PKE645FP1E also offers a wide range of security features including a pilot light, a two-stage residual heat indicator for each cooking zone, achild safety lock, and safe shutdown.
