SelfCleaning Condenser – the condenser cleans itself automatically
The SelfCleaning Condenser reduces the need for regular manual maintenance. During the drying process, the condenser cleans itself automatically, which helps to maintain efficient airflow and stable appliance performance in the long term. The BOSCH WQN246D0BY Serie 6 dryer therefore takes care of one of the most important aspects of ongoing maintenance by itself.
AutoDry – dries to your desired level
AutoDry technology uses sensors to continuously monitor the temperature and residual moisture of your laundry. It then stops the drying process once the laundry reaches your selected level of dryness. This lets you choose, for example, to have your laundry ready for ironing or dry enough to put away in the wardrobe, without the textiles staying in the drum for too long.
Smart Dry recommends the right programme
The Smart Dry function can take care of selecting the right programme after your laundry has been washed. When you connect a compatible Bosch washing machine and dryer via Wi-Fi, it uses data from the last wash cycle to recommend the appropriate drying programme. You don't need to manually enter the properties of the load you've just washed.
Home Connect for remote dryer control
Thanks to the Home Connect app, you can check and manage the BOSCH WQN246D0BY Serie 6 dryer from your phone or tablet. You can remotely operate the available functions and monitor the current status of the drying programme. This makes it easier to fit your laundry care into your daily routine.
Home Connect and smart energy management
Home Connect also expands the dryer's capabilities by enabling it to work with a compatible home energy management system. When connected to a system using the EEBUS standard, you can schedule the appliance's operation based on energy availability or set conditions. This feature can be used, for example, in a household with a compatible energy management system or photovoltaics.
Easy Start recommends the right settings
If you are unsure which drying programme to choose, the Easy Start function in the Home Connect app will help you. After entering the properties of the textiles and the desired drying result, it recommends a suitable programme. You don't have to guess the individual settings, making it easier to choose the right care for your specific load.
Reversible Drum – less tangled bedding
When drying bedding, the dryer uses a reversing drum action. Alternating rotation in both directions helps to prevent larger items, such as duvet covers and sheets, from getting tangled together. This allows both large and small textiles to move more freely in the drum and dry more evenly.
Quick 40' drying
The Quick 40' programme is useful for when you need to dry a small amount of laundry in a short time. It is designed especially for light synthetic textiles and dries them in approximately 40 minutes. The programme uses precise temperature control and monitors the residual moisture of the laundry.
Internal drum light
The internal light gives you a better view of the entire drum space. When you're taking laundry out, you can more easily spot even small items that might otherwise be overlooked. The lighting makes handling the load more convenient in everyday use.
