Bravilon 50 mg mucoadhesive buccal tablet acyclovir

Bravilon, in the form of mucoadhesive buccal tablets, treats recurrent cold sores on the lips caused by the herpes simplex virus in adults.

💊 Use

Healing herpes
Do you suffer from frequent occurrence of cold sores? Bravilon 50 mg is indicated for the treatment of recurrent cold sores on the lips caused by the herpes simplex virus in adults whose immune systems are functioning properly. It contains the active ingredient acyclovir, which belongs to a group of drugs called antivirals. Bravilon prevents the multiplication of viruses, thus causing the infection to recede. Bravilon in the form of mucoadhesive buccal tablets is applied directly to the gum (not to the actual site of the cold sore) as soon as the first symptoms appear.
During a herpes episode, apply 1 tablet to the upper gums as soon as the first symptoms of herpes appear. Hold the tablet in place for 30 seconds. The tablet will adhere to the site and gradually dissolve during the day. You can eat and drink normally. The tablet must not be sucked, chewed or swallowed. If you have a dry mouth, it is recommended to drink some water to moisten your gums before taking the tablet. If you accidentally swallow the tablet, drink a glass of water. If you swallow it or it becomes loose within the first 6 hours and replace it immediately with a new tablet, but only once. If Bravilon is released or inadvertently swallowed after 6 hours, do not replace the tablet. If symptoms do not improve within 5 days, consult a doctor.
