BRITA Pack 3 MAXTRApro EN 2024

Unique 4-stage filtration with superior capacity

Advanced filtration with MicroFlow technology reduces limescale, water hardness and the content of heavy metals and substances that negatively affect the taste of water, such as. chlorine. The lifetime of the BRITA Maxtra Pro Hard Water Expert cartridge is up to 150 litres or 4 weeks of use. The advantage is that it can be used with any BRITA kettle, including older ones. Filtration takes place in a total of four stages:

• Through the inlet, unfiltered water flows into the filter, where mechanical impurities are trapped on the fine mesh
• The water then comes into contact with the filter mixture, where the ion exchanger removes unwanted ions, heavy metals (copper, lead, etc. ), reduces water hardness and scale formation
• Subsequently, activated carbon reduces substances such as chlorine, pesticides and organic impurities that have a negative effect on the taste of tap water
• The last stage involves filtering through a very fine sieve at the bottom to remove microscopic impurities if necessary
