Bromhexine KM is a medicinal product for liquefying and dissolving mucus in respiratory diseases, especially those with long-standing thick mucus formation. Without consulting a physician, the preparation is used in acute bronchial and pulmonary diseases associated with the formation of mucus. Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age:
3 times a day 15 to 30 drops.
Children aged 6 to 14 years and patients weighing less than 50 kg:
3 times a day 15 drops.
Children from 2 - 6 years:
3 times a day 8 drops.
Oral administration.
The drops are taken undiluted with a spoon.
Hold the bottle upside down when dripping!
Bromhexine Berlin-Chemie is usually taken after a meal, the dose is measured using a drip
device.
It is advisable to ensure sufficient fluid intake during the day.
Contraindications
Uncommon side effects (may affect up to 1 person in 100):
- fever
- feeling sick, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea
Rare side effects (may affect up to 1 person in 1000):
- hypersensitivity reactions
- rash, urticaria

Bromhexine Berlin-Chemie should not be taken during the breastfeeding period. When taking Bromhexin Berlin at the same time. Chemistry with cough suppressants (antitussives) can lead to dangerous accumulation of mucus in the airways due to disruption of the cough reflex.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the label and on the box after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not store at temperatures below 15 °C.
