Brufen is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, including Still's disease, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other seronegative spondylarthritis, and osteoarthritis. It is also indicated for the treatment of muscle and joint pain, that accompanies flu-like illnesses, for the symptomatic treatment of soft tissue injuries, such as sprains and strains, to relieve mild or moderate pain, for example in painful menstruation, toothache, postoperative pain, back pain, for symptomatic relief of headache (including migraine) and as an antipyretic in febrile conditions. The package contains 50 tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age (weighing ≥ 40 kg): For the treatment of acute painful conditions and fever, the recommended daily dose is 400 mg once or 3 times a day with an interval between doses of 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg. The dosage of ibuprofen depends on the age and body weight of the patient. The maximum single dose for adults and adolescents should not exceed 400 mg of ibuprofen. More than 400 mg of ibuprofen once does not have a better analgesic effect. Adolescents should see a doctor if it is necessary to administer this medicine for more than 3 days or if the symptoms of the disease worsen. For rheumatic diseases, the recommended daily dose is in the range of 1200-2400 mg in 3-4 divided doses. Doses are generally higher in inflammatory forms of the disease than in degenerative forms. The total daily dose of 2400 mg should not be exceeded. Pediatric population: The daily dose for juvenile idiopathic arthritis is 30-45 mg/kg body weight, divided in 3-4 sub-doses. The total daily dose must not exceed 2400 mg. Brufen 400 mg in the form of coated tablets is not intended for children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 40 kg. Other dosage forms of ibuprofen are available for this group.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. Do not take Brufen if you are allergic to the medicine or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine. The product must not be used by women in the 3rd third of pregnancy (only on the recommendation of a doctor, it is used by other pregnant and lactating women).

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated.
