Canesten GYN 1 day comfortably treats vaginal yeast infection (mycosis/candidiasis) with just 1 vaginal application, relieving u of uncomfortable itching, burning, discharge and redness. The application of the vaginal tablet is easy. The vaginal tablet contains the drug clotrimazole, which treats the yeast infection directly at the site of its origin. Yeast infection in women often occurs when the microbial balance of the vaginal environment is disturbed and it is not possible to keep the number of yeasts (most often Candida albicans) under control. It also works against certain types of bacteria! * Vaginal mycosis can be uncomfortable (itching and discharge), but in most cases it is relatively easy to treat.

Use of Canesten GYN 1 DEN
Canesten GYN 1 day is suitable for girls from 12 years of age, women of reproductive age and also women of postmenopausal age. The application is performed once, preferably in the evening before bedtime. The tablet is inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina using the applicator included in the package. The sexual partner should also undergo topical treatment with the cream even if there are no symptoms of infection, e.g. itching, inflammation. If the symptoms are not only internal, but also external, cream should be applied simultaneously with tablets as an addition to intravaginal treatment (combined treatment). Treatment should not be carried out during menstruation. Tampons must not be used during treatment. For therapy with Canesten GYN 1 day during pregnancy, the application must be carried out by a doctor. During pregnancy, the tablet must be introduced without the use of an applicator! Always follow the instructions for use of the medicine as given in the package leaflet.
Canesten product specifics
Clotrimazole, when applied to the genital area, may reduce the effectiveness and safety of some contraceptive devices, such as the condom. The effect is temporary and occurs only during treatment.
Ingredients
One vaginal tablet contains 500 mg of clotrimazole. Excipients are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactic acid, cornstarch, crospovidone, calcium lactate pentahydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, hypromellose.
Storage
Store at ≤ 30 °C, protect from light, keep out of the reach of children, do not dispose of after the expiry date and return the remaining quantity to the pharmacist.

Read the package insert carefully. Canesten GYN 1 day vaginal tablet is a medicinal product for vaginal use. It contains the medicinal substance clotrimazole.
