Canon EOS 1200D

The Canon EOS 1200D is an easy-to-use digital SLR camera that delivers maximum performance and provides you with the desired photography results. All that in a classic body typical for DSLR cameras, with an attractive black design, ergonomic hold, and intuitive controls. You can also see the results of your artistic creativity on the spacious 3" LCD display.
The high-sensitivity CMOS sensor features an impressive resolution of 18Mpx to capture what really matters in the highest quality possible, which makes the resulting images suitable even for large-format printing (up to A2) or for cropping without losing any of the clarity. Perfect focus is achieved via a group of nine focusing points that guarantee crisp pictures filled with fine detail. You can place the photographed object either in the center of the shot, or shift it away from the center to create an interesting composition. The modern Digic 4 processor provides the camera with fast and reliable performance.
Recording videos is just as easy as shooting photos - simply select the Film mode and use the Start/Stop button to capture the world around you. Video is recorded in top-notch Full HD quality, so you can easily play it on a large monitor or HDTV screen later and it will still look amazing. In the Video Snapshot mode, you can create mini-stories of your days - the camera records short clips (2, 4, or 8 seconds), which you can then play as a video presentation.
While you're composing the scene in front of you, the EOS 1200D is analysing the image based on colours, brightness, motion, or faces to help you choose the optimal camera settings for a particular shot, whether you are shooting a landscape or a sporting event. If the lighting conditions deteriorate, the device will increase its sensitivity and your photos will remain sharp without having to activate the flash (built-in or external) or setting up a tripod. Canon engineers know full well that nothing can capture the atmosphere of the scene as accurately as natural lighting.
Unleash your imagination and experiment with the various creative effects the camera offers. Why not try one of five available filters, such as Black and White Grain, Cheap Camera, or Fish Eye? You can also show your own inventiveness in manual modes with time or aperture priority (Tv, Av, or M). Use the white balance function to the fullest to get the most natural lighting - choose auto if you want to fully focus on the composition, or choose the best option yourself if you feel comfortable doing so.
The camera is designed to be as intuitive and user-friendly as possible. To avoid having to learn the whole user's guide by heart, you can use the "EOS Wizard" smartphone application (available on Google Play and AppStore). The wizard will help you explore all the functions and control options the camera offers, explain the creative possibilities of individual lenses, and teach you how to fully develop your skills by using interactive tasks.
