The printer uses a professional system of 8 separate dye-based ChromaLife 100+ inks, which ensures a wide colour gamut, deeper blacks, and faithful detail reproduction. A maximum resolution of up to 4800×2400 DPI enables printing of highly detailed photos and art reproductions. It supports printing on a wide range of media, including Canon photo papers, fine art papers, matte and glossy media, and printing on CD/DVD discs.
