The CATA EMPIRE KD 331050 chimney hood will rid your kitchen of steam and cooking odours in an instant. This wall-mounted hood is 50cm wide and offers 3 extraction speeds with a low noise level between 48–69dB. The hood's motor is equipped with thermal fuses that prevent it from overheating; if the temperature gets too high, the motor switches off and then switches back on once it has cooled down. The maximum extraction power of the hood is 410m³/h. The control panel features mechanical buttons for setting the speed and switching on the LED lighting. Inside the hood, you will find metal grease filters that are easy to clean in the dishwasher. You can choose whether to operate the CATA EMPIRE hood in extraction or recirculation mode, depending on your needs. Its angled design creates more space above the hob for manoeuvring, allowing the hood to be placed lower than conventional models. An angled hood can be installed 10–15cm lower than hoods with a flat bottom.
