CATA EMPIRE VD 215060 Black

The EMPIRE VD 215060 built-in cooker hood, 60cm wide in black, has a maximum extraction rate of 405m³/h (5Pa), a noise level of 44–68dB(A) and 3 speeds. The extractor units have an individually balanced turbine. The motors are equipped with return thermal fuses (they switch off when the motor overloads and switch on again after it cools down). The metal sandwich grease filters are dishwasher-safe. The cooker hood can operate in both extraction and recirculation modes, has an outlet diameter of 150mm and features gesture control – the hood can be switched off contact-free with a wave of the hand (by moving it close to the sensor), and another wave switches it back on (it remembers the last setting before being turned off with a gesture). It also includes energy-saving 2× 2W LED lighting, a 120mm reducer and a non-return flap.

Recirculation mode for built-in cooker hoods

The cooker hood is fitted with a carbon odour filter. The filtered air is ducted from the hood in a similar way to extraction mode, through a pipe that runs through the entire cabinet. However, this pipe does not end with an elbow into the wall, but above the cabinet, where it is recommended to finish it with a grille. The dimensional drawing and the data it contains are decisive for the manufacture of the cabinet.
