CATA EMPIRE VIP KD 511060

The EMPIRE VIP KD 511060 chimney hood features a high-quality motor with an individually balanced turbine and a resettable thermal fuse. This prevents the hood from overheating. The hood has electronic controls with an LED display, and a remote control is also included for shorter people. The extractor has three standard speeds and a TURBO mode, which lets you instantly and effectively extract all odours. After use, the hood can continue running with the help of a run-on timer to extract any remaining cooking smells.

Extraction and recirculation modes and easy maintenance

For maximum performance, it is recommended to connect the EMPIRE KD 511060 cooker hood to an extraction duct. However, if you don't have this option, the extractor can also be used in recirculation mode. Using a 15cm diameter pipe is recommended, but a 12cm reducer is also included with the hood. Another practical feature is the non-return flap, which prevents extracted odours from re-entering the room. The hood is equipped with metal grease filters to capture greasy dust, which you can easily wash in the dishwasher. The remote control is handy not only if you are shorter but also for eliminating fingerprints on the hood. Two energy-saving LED lights illuminate the cooking and work surfaces. For the hood to function correctly, it is recommended to turn it on 5 minutes before cooking.
