Cellufluid is a tear substitute that contains a substance called carmellose sodium. It is used to treat the symptoms of dry eye syndrome (such as soreness, burning, irritation or dry eye) caused by your lack of production of tears to keep the eye moist.
Dosage
Recommended dose:
1-2 drops of Cellufluid in the affected eye/eyes 4 times a day or as needed.
Always use this medicine exactly as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist or nurse. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist or nurse. You do not need to remove your contact lenses before using Cellufluid. Check that the single-dose container is intact before use. After opening, the solution should be used immediately. To prevent contamination or possible injury to the eye, the open part of the single-dose vial must not touch the eye or anything else. Wash your hands before use.
Contraindications
Cellufluid may cause transient blurred vision. If you experience temporary blurred vision, do not drive any vehicles or operate any machinery until your vision clears. Read the entire package insert before use. Do not use Cellufluid if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to carmellose sodium or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine). If irritation, soreness, redness, and changes in vision occur or if your condition worsens, stop using this medication and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Notice
Read the package insert carefully. The active ingredient paracetamol is contained in a number of different drugs, beware of combining them. Do not take more than one paracetamol medicine at the same time. Do not drink alcohol during treatment.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the label of the single-dose container and on the box after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not use Cellufluid if you notice signs of tampering with the packaging. Do not use if the solution changes colour or shows signs of cloudiness.
