Preparation
Grind the coffee to the coarseness required for your chosen brewing methour The coffee is supplied as whole beans (unground) as standard.
Storage
Only open the coffee right before you plan to brew it. There's no need to transfer it to another container afterwards. Simply reseal the bag using the zip lock. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from air, while the one-way valve allows the naturally produced carbon dioxide to escape. This allows the beans to degas without going stale. Store the package somewhere with a stable temperature and dry conditions – which definitely means not in the fridge or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours. Even our special bags wouldn't help there.
