The beans come from a group of farmers around the towns of San Agustín and Isnos in the north-west of the Huila region, one of Colombia's most famous coffee growing areas, where the altitude ranges from 1 700 to 1 950 m above sea level. m. The farms are located on the slopes of the mighty Cordilleras of Colombia, where the constant climate provides the best growing conditions. Coffee cultivation is the livelihood of 70 000 people. The coffee from this region is characterised by its sweet undertones, pleasantly low acidity and intense aroma.
