Contractubex® gel is used for the treatment of fresh and older scars of various origins and types. It contains a unique combination of three active ingredients:

It is used on scars that restrict mobility, magnified, overgrown and cosmetically disturbing surgical scars, amputations, burns and injuries, shortening of tendons caused by injury or disease (e.g. Dupuytren's contracture) or in scar-like contraction. For best results, start Contractubex treatment as soon as the wound is closed or the stitches are removed. Treatment may take 3 - 6 months depending on the extent of scarring. Dosage and method of use

Rub a thin layer of Contractubex into the scar tissue several times a day until it is completely absorbed. For old, hard scars, leave Contractubex on overnight under a bandage. Depending on the extent and thickness of the scar or contracture, treatment is required for several weeks to months. For children from 1 year of age, it is recommended to apply Contractubex once or twice a day to scars.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the product. Read the package insert carefully.

Storage

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box or tube after "Use by:". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C.
Expiration date:
After the first opening, Contractubex is usable for 6 months.
Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
