Durable construction of the Corsair 3000D Airflow case

The solid steel frame gives the entire chassis the necessary stability and resistance to vibrations. The left side is enclosed by a tempered glass panel, revealing the internal layout of the components. The system uses a simple slide-on, slide-off mechanism to remove the side panel without tools, speeding up access to the hardware for maintenance or upgrades.

Optimised front panel for air intake

The front of the product features a perforated steel panel that ensures an unrestricted supply of fresh air to heat-generating components. This structure supplies the interior with cool air and also acts as a barrier against larger debris. Low temperatures are maintained even during intensive use of computing power. The interior can accommodate up to eight 120mm fans or four 140mm variants, ensuring comprehensive heat dissipation. The manufacturer includes two high-performance SP120 Elite fans as standard, which direct airflow straight onto the graphics card.

Space for powerful components

The internal layout accepts graphics cards up to 360mm in length, including massive top-of-the-range four-slot cards. For CPU cooling, you can install coolers up to 170mm in height. The power supply position in the bottom tunnel supports units up to 220mm long, creating plenty of room for cabling even with high-performance PSUs.

Motherboard support and connectivity

The chassis supports the installation of ATX, mATX and mITX motherboards. Behind the motherboard tray, there is a space up to 29mm deep for cable management. This solution helps maintain a clean build appearance and does not obstruct airflow inside the main chamber. For data storage, a combined bay system accommodates two 3.5-inch hard drives or two 2.5-inch SSDs. The top I/O panel provides access to two high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a combination headphone/microphone jack. This placement makes it easy to connect peripherals without having to find ports on the back of the computer.
